Description: Subtypes:Side Opening: A catch basin with a standard, vertical curb opening.Grated: A catch basin with a grate-covered opening located in the plane of the gutter or pavement.Combination: A catch basin with both side and grated openings.Inlet: A flared-type catch basin typically made of corrugated steel pipe (CSP).Cover: A lid for the access hole to a catch basin, typically made of cast iron.Insert: A manufactured frame incorporating filter or fabric and placed in a curb opening to remove trash, and sediments from catch basins. It is also a form of Best Management Priactice.Cover & Insert: A combined cover and insert device. Attributes: Most of the feature classes in this storm drain geometric network share the same GIS table schema.
