Description: This dataset represents the locations and attributes of Department of Public Works (DPW) roadway delineator assets maintained by the Operational Services Division (OSD) within Los Angeles County jurisdiction. Delineators are roadway devices used to provide visual guidance to motorists and help identify roadway alignment, edges, curves, medians, and other roadway features.This layer was developed to support asset management, field maintenance, delineator inventory and tracking, and integration with the County’s Asset Management System, Trimble Unity.Field Definitions / Attribute Overview:This dataset contains key attribute fields describing each delineator asset. Note that values may be missing as this is an ongoing effort to reconcile and input our asset data. Notable/unique fields for Delineators include:CW_ASSETID –Also known as TUMS Asset ID, is the active unique identifier associated with each asset in Trimble Unity Maintain / Cityworks.STATUS –Indicates the operational status of the delineator asset, such as Active, Inactive, Proposed, Abandoned, In Construction, or Unknown.LR1 –Location Reference 1. Identifies the asset's position or orientation relative to the roadway, such as northbound, southbound, eastbound, westbound, roadway side, approach, or on the referenced street.LR2 –Location Reference 2. Further identifies the asset's location relative to a cross street or reference point, such as At, On, North Of, South Of, East Of, or West Of.DELBEGINFT –Beginning measurement of the delineator segment in feet, based on its measured distance from the intersection.DELENDFT –Ending measurement of the delineator segment in feet, based on its measured distance from the intersection.DELLINFT –Total linear length of the delineator segment in feet.DEL_QTY –Quantity of delineators represented by the asset record.DEL_SPACING –Approximate spacing between delineators, measured in feet.DEL_REFL_TYPE –Identifies the reflective configuration of the delineator, such as One-Way or Two-Way.DEL_TYPE –Identifies the delineator type, such as Squeeze-Type, Round Cap, or Quarter-Twist.DEL_COLOR –Identifies the color of the delineator, such as Orange, White, or Yellow.DEL_BASE_TYPE –Identifies the type of delineator base, such as Round Rubber or Square Quarter-Twist.TF_CURB –Indicates whether the delineator installation is associated with Tuff Curb.ORIG_INST_DATE –Original installation date of the delineator asset, when available.LAST_MAINT_DATE –Date the delineator asset was last maintained, when available.Last Updated or update frequency: 2026Loaded September 2026 per Ticket #267185
