This district serves over 5,000,000 parcels and a population of more than 2 million people within Los Angeles. It plays a crucial role in maintaining and managing the sewer system to protect public health and the environment. The Marina Sewer Maintenance District is responsible for maintaining sewer infrastructure in specific areas including the Marina del Rey region. The dataset shows the boundary of the CSMD and Marina SMD which Sewer Maintenance Division (SMD) provides services to. The dataset shows all the parcels that have been annexed into the SMD. The parcels can belong to a member city, or in the unincorporated area.
