It contains the flood insurance studies for the communities within the County of Los Angeles and is the basis for the Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps issued on September 26, 2008. The FIS includes the engineering methods used, lists the Letters of Map Changes that were incorporated into the FIS, and provides peak discharges and flood profiles.
